In the Summer of 1980 Robbi Mermel (Nierenberg) and Michelle Silverman (Saltz) met at Camp Walden.
There, as kids, athlete met artist, south met north, tom-boy met girly girl and our two worlds collided. Though we came from different worlds, immersed in the structure and freedom of camp we formed an unbreakable bond and camp became HOME. Every summer throughout childhood it was our place of sanctuary and play where we could always be ourselves.
Some years passed without communication and then through the miracle of Facebook we reconnected as adults and discovered it was as if no time had passed.
We had both become therapists and coaches of differing modalities, and delighted in sharing our learnings with each other. And the joy and laughter of childhood remained a central part of our adult friendship too. The old camp song “Make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other gold” held true.
In 2022 we attended a breathwork meditation retreat in Mt Shasta and walked away inspired by our deepened connection to ourselves, each other and the natural world.
Leaving the retreat we wondered……
How do we create ongoing freedom and aliveness in our lives?
How do we return to play?
How can we bring our desire to grow and cultivate growth and connection into the world?
And right then and there Home in was born.
Home in
A process of TUNING IN to create ease and flow which brings you HOME again and again.
Come home to yourself and fall in love with your life by HOMING IN. Together we cultivate and embody fierce tenderness, deep connection INSIDE and OUT and reclaim the child-like joy and wonder of life –Together.

Fall in-person Retreat
As the trees begin to drop their leaves, we begin our Home in program with our first retreat in Northwest CT. Here, we will immerse ourselves in the essence of Fall during peak foliage season and joyfully celebrate the natural ending and beginning that is FALL. We will harvest and embrace the changes the season offers, which can often feel like loss but also makes room for new beginnings.
Through ceremony, ritual, nature and play we will embrace the dichotomy that Fall represents. TOGETHER we will reframe our experience of Fall and begin building a nourishing foundation to Home in as we embrace the beauty of the season in all its splendor.
Winter in-person Retreat
Home in continues with our Winter Retreat. Nestled in the wintery wonderland of Steamboat Springs, Colorado we will plug into the essence of Winter. During the darkest time of the year we will curl in and cocoon into ourselves to tap into our own light, illuminating our inner worlds to begin dreaming and envisioning our desires.
Together we will cultivate a new relationship to Winter’s gifts of rest and renewal through the combination of somatic practice and play. We will discover the power of slowing down as we tune into our deepest wisdom, begin to trust our intuition and PAUSE to Home in
Spring in-person Retreat
Our third Home in retreat celebrates SPRING as we return to the beautiful hills of Northwest CT and Anderson Acres Flower Farm. Here, as the days become longer, life bursts into bloom and we are gifted with the show of color, possibility and child-like wonder that is the essence of Spring.
Through playful movement, breathwork in nature and creative expression, we will tap into this vital energy. Together, we will discern the dreams and intentions we wish to grow and plant our deepest desires. In doing so, we will allocate and conserve our most precious resources to nurture and Home in to what we value most in our lives.
Summer in-person Retreat
Our Final Home in retreat brings us to Summer and the glory of Mount Shasta, CA. Dubbed the earth's root chakra and the base of our planet's energy system, Mount Shasta is an active but dormant volcano standing nearly 14,200 feet high in Northern California. It holds not only majestic beauty but mystery, magic, and spirituality rolled into one.
We bring you here to where Home in was conceived to share the inspiration and magic of this sacred mountain where our senses will be awakened by the warm, sweet, joyful energy of Summer. Amidst mountain lakes, streams and majestic pines we will savor summer's full bloom and allow all we've created to nourish us body and soul as we relish in the interconnectedness of it all.
Three Zoom calls per season: 12 in total
Between our in person-retreats, we will convene through Zoom calls –3 per season.
During these 2 hour virtual gatherings we will continue to delve into the wisdom of each season as we Home in to our true natures, and develop tools that will last a lifetime. These calls will be an opportunity for practice and continuity, a place for exploration, questions and of course, more play. In our safe, online community, ALL OF YOU is welcomed!
Four individual coaching sessions for check-in and support
Each participant will have four individual coaching sessions, one per season, for ongoing guidance from Michelle and Robbi. These private sessions give you personalized time and attention for whatever you need to fine tune your Home in Menu.

Expand, become inspired, connected and empowered all year long through our Home In COMMUNITY.
